Maintenance Technician Needed ASAP – Milwaukee WI
Electroplating Company – Full Time – 1st Shift
Pay: 20 to 30 per hour based on experience
We are an established electroplating company in Milwaukee looking to add a skilled Maintenance Technician to our team. If you have experience working on industrial equipment and can hit the ground running, we want to talk to you.
Job Duties

Install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment

Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues by observing equipment in operation

Dismantle and replace worn or defective machine parts

Inspect and measure components to determine replacement needs

Maintain inventory of repair parts and order replacements as needed
-
Perform rack repairs and fabrication of new plating racks
-
Train production staff on basic maintenance procedures

Complete maintenance logs and reports

Follow all safety rules and keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements

Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
-
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures
-
Capable of lifting and moving heavy parts or tools
-
Familiar with industrial safety standards

Able to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings
-
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Education and Experience
-
Associates degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred

Relevant certifications accepted in place of degree
-
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial environment
